Andreas Preindl GT V4 Gerhard's green 1500 S Austria's biggest classic car show in Tulln Austria's biggest classic car show in Tulln Austria's biggest classic car show in Tulln Our last rallye here near Vienna in Biedermannsdorf Large Scale Telsalda Corsair Model (A. Preindl) Andreas Preindl Estate Andreas Preindl Estate Andreas Preindl Estate Andreas Preindl Estate The Biedermannsdorf Classic, 44 cars took part, Ferrari, Jaguars, Austin He's, BMW's, Merc's,etc, and we, as the only Ford team with our Corsair GT, we won one stage and ended as 7th, so it wasn't too bad! I bought the estate about seven years ago in England, and drove her back to Vienna the same week. She came with a lot of parts and an extra, complete brown interior. Originally she was white with a black interior, and was more or less restored, a lot of mechanical parts were new, but the body was bodged up, so new wheel arches where welded over the rusty old ones, etc. first of all we painted the roof black, but didn't like it, we always wanted a red estate, so: we resprayed her, in Spanish red, without restoring the body completely in the first place, that proved to be a big mistake!!! we fitted a roof rack of a Chevrolet Malibu, and put the brown interior in, and completed that with the matching brown leather Austin van den Plaas seats with the wooden trays you see in the photos. (the lotus steel rims where on her when we bought her) three years ago we changed the engine, as the original one got a bit rattly. a 2l V4 from a Capri went in, with only 25 000 miles. it runs beautifully and very quiet.
